A federal grand jury is investigating police corruption in Tulsa, looking into alleged stolen drugs and money, nonexistent informants and tainted search warrants. Already 11 people have been freed from federal prison or have had their felony charges and convictions eliminated in state or federal court. Meanwhile, the names of eight Tulsa police officers and one former federal agent have surfaced in the corruption probe. The former ATF agent has pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy while one Tulsa police officer pleaded guilty to stealing money as part of an FBI sting. The special prosecutor overseeing the investigation says an estimated 15 police officers could be charged or serve as witnesses in the corruption probe.
