	A federal grand jury is investigating police corruption in Tulsa, looking into alleged stolen drugs and money, nonexistent informants and tainted search warrants. Already 11 people have been freed from federal prison or have had their felony charges and convictions eliminated in state or federal court. Meanwhile, the names of eight Tulsa police officers and one former federal agent have surfaced in the corruption probe. The former ATF agent has pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy while one Tulsa police officer pleaded guilty to stealing money as part of an FBI sting. The special prosecutor overseeing the investigation says an estimated 15 police officers could be charged or serve as witnesses in the corruption probe. Jeff Henderson An undercover officer assigned to the Special Investigations Division of Tulsa Police Department; implicated in an alleged fabricated drug buy that sent two people to prison. John K. Gray Tulsa Police Officer John K. Gray, 44, pleaded guilty in federal court June 14 to a felony count of stealing about $2,000 as part of a drug sting operation organized by the FBI and Justice Department. In his plea agreement, Gray agreed to cooperate with federal officials who are investigating other Tulsa police officers. May 8, 2007 The date of the alleged fabricated drug buy. Aug. 10, 2007 The case against Larry Wayne Barnes Sr., 59, and his daughter Larita Annette Barnes, 33, is filed. April 23, 2008 The Barneses are found guilty of two counts of selling methamphetamine and maintaining a residence where meth was produced. July 1, 2009 The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals remands the case back to the Northern District. July 2, 2009 The Barneses are released from federal prison. Nov. 8, 2009 The Tulsa World reports that several Tulsa Police Officers are part of a photo lineup in a federal investigation. March 30, 2010 A pleading dated June 25, 2009, is unsealed. In the pleading, federal prosecutors allege that Jeff Henderson, an undercover officer with TPD's Special Investigations Division, and Brandon McFadden, a current or former agent with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, coached a drug informant and fabricated a drug buy in 2007. March 31, 2010 Henderson is placed on leave with pay. April 1, 2010 Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris has ordered a review of drug and criminal cases that involve Henderson. April 8, 2010 McFadden, a former agent with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, is booked into the jail on a hold for U.S. marshals. April 9, 2010 McFadden is indicted on drug and weapons charges brought by a federal grand jury. Jamon Armin Pointer, 31, is released from federal prison but remains on hold with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Pointer was convicted Oct. 1, 2008 of possession of "crack" cocaine with intent to distribute. He was serving a 10-year prison sentence. His release is connected to the grand jury investigation. April 14, 2010 McFadden is released from jail to await trial. April 14, 2010 McFadden, 33, a former ATF agent, is released from jail on electronic monitoring to await trial on federal charges that include drug conspiracy. April 19, 2010 Larry Wayne Barnes, 59, files a civil lawsuit for wrongful imprisonment. Barnes was freed from federal prison July 2 after serving 16 months for a crime that federal prosecutors say he did not commit. April 20, 2010 John K. Gray, 43, a second Tulsa police officer believed to the focus of a federal investigation into alleged police corruption in Tulsa, is placed on administrative leave. April 30, 2010 DeMarco Deon Williams, a man who was serving two life sentences for allegedly dealing drugs, is released from federal prison as part of the grand jury probe. Williams, 35, had spent six years in federal prison or in jail awaiting trial. May 6, 2010 McFadden pleads guilty to drug conspiracy and agrees to cooperate with federal officials investigating stolen drug money, fabricated drug informants and tainted search warrants. May 21, 2010 Bobby Wayne Haley Sr. is released from a Texas federal prison, where he was serving a 22-year sentence for drug-related convictions. He had served four years of the sentence before being freed by a U.S. District Judge. Haley, 55, was freed after an informant in his case said she gave false testimony at the request of two Tulsa police officers. June 6, 2010 The World reports that Tulsa Police Officers John K. Gray and Harold Wells had their phones wiretapped as part of the grand jury investigation. Gray and Wells have not been charged with a crime.
