Recording complaints is very important. Often times complaints go into the circular filing cabinet never to be seen or heard from. The tools provided here on LawReport.org will allow complaints to be filed and indexed for searches. Cataloging these complaints creates a record the public can access to research misconduct. Over time this database will grow and become an invaluable tool in the fight against Police and Judicial corruption and abuse. It is no accident that complaints of this nature are classified by police agencies as personnel actions. This allows them to hide the information from the public because it is part of an employees’ personnel record. While there are avenues to obtain the data you will find that the reports are heavily edited in that many parts are blacked out so they cannot be read. This is known as a 'redacted' copy of the report. NOTHING will be blacked out here. There will be accountability. Be strong and enter your complaint. It may be that filing your complaint will do you no good but down the road the compilation of these complaints may spare some one else from having to endure what you did because a bad cop, attorney, judge or politician was removed or fired through this information.
