Welcome to Law Report.org

Law Report.org is an organization that has come to be as a result of the need to preserve and protect the very things so many good men and women have died for in the name of the Constitution of the United States of America. Recent times have seen their supreme sacrifice taken in vain as is witnessed by the unlawful actions of some people associated with police departments, prosecutorial offices, courts and politicians at all levels of government. Many of our leaders have lost their way. The leadership of the United States operates on the premise that the end justifies the means. That mentality is rotting the morality of our country from the top down. That mentality is sending a dark message to the world. In times past the United States could hold its head high but no longer. Americans are looked down upon because of the image that is projected by the actions of the few; the actions of our leaders and others in power. You didn’t cause this and I didn’t cause it; our leadership did it

All too often each of us witness acts committed by elements of law enforcement and politicians that are simply illegal and unacceptable. Newspaper and Television were the first to bring graphic proof of this to our attention and now the Internet brings such events to our desktops on a daily basis often within minutes of the offense

It is painfully clear the time has come for a new frame of mind; a frame of mind that adheres to the Constitution, the laws of this land and the laws of sovereign nations. This new frame of mind has to be followed up by the determination, strength and honor it takes to implement it. It will take every one of us to do this and it will be a full-time job. Out of necessity it must be a way of life; it must be second nature. This “system” we call democracy, as it has been implemented, is not working. It is not working because of corruption in the human heart. Let there be no doubt there are a good many people involved in law enforcement and politics who are honest and try to do the right thing but often times they fail because of people around them who are dishonest. A good example is the blue wall of silence. Honest police officers are held hostage by criminals with badges. Try to imagine going to work every day and having to stand next to co-workers who are criminals and all the while you are in a position that will not allow you to voice your objection. Like it or not that is the position many in law enforcement find themselves faced with

Law Report.org believes it is possible a day could come when the world can once again look toward the United States for leadership and respect us as a nation of trustworthy moral law-abiding people but it will not happen until we cleanup our own backyard. We must take responsibility for our own freedoms. There is too much at stake to risk turning our backs on the responsibility of citizenship. Personal involvement is required. In these times we find ourselves at a crossroads. It is no longer good enough to follow the law, work hard and pay ones taxes in order to believe one is a good citizen. If evil sneaks up on you and causes you and yours harm you are hapless victims but if you know of the evil in advance and look the other way you have lost your claim to innocence. You ultimately bare a degree of responsibility

This is precisely the situation we are faced with now. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to look around and see how far abuse of the public trust has progressed. It is rampant and blatant. In this day of the Internet and the common ownership of hand held devices that can record images and video effortlessly and relay those images to the world wide web where millions of people can view it within minutes we still see the police shamelessly brutalizing people at will. One would think the police, being aware of the potential for being watched and recorded at any given moment, would be on their best behavior. Yet we see horrific examples of police beat-downs on a regular basis. Why? Because they can. They can because corrupt people run the courts and refuse to hold them accountable. They can because those in charge of Police departments seldom take sides against their own personnel. They can because of the “elitist” mentality that is growing in this country

There are many web sites with similar goals as LawReport.org but we feel that few carry themselves as an unbiased source of information. That is a very important distinction. Credibility as a reliable source of information is critical in the efforts to promote reform in the areas of concern here

Law Report.org encourages you to explore this web site and think very carefully about the information presented. There will be constant updates/data additions to this site. Check back frequently
